Start NIC on boot

In one of my VM’s I had to start the NIC manually every time, this is how I made it turn on at boot.
You need to navigate to the networks scripts by typing:

cd /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/

Here you will have a file called ifcfg-X where X is the name of your NIC, in my case it’s ifcfg-enp1s0.
You can use vi or vim, I prefer using nano as my text editor.
So I type:

nano ifcfg-enp1s0

To enter the file.
Look for this line:

ONBOOT=no

Change “no” to “yes“.

Reboot and test it if you like.
